The easiest way to introduce Flipd to your students is to include it in your syllabus as a class-wide expectation or to outline that Flipd use will go toward participation points. Our research has shown that when Flipd is included as part of their participation grade, 98% of students are willing to opt in.

We also recommend that instructors engage in a discussion with their students about multi-tasking and distractions in the digital age.
